Cambodia Koh Ker – description
An unforgettable journey to the mysterious Kingdom of Cambodia.
You will visit the ancient and majestic temple complex Angkor Wat, recognized as the Eighth Wonder of the World, and see the Bayon, Ta Prohm, Ta Keo, Terrace of the Elephants, and Terrace of the Leper King — true masterpieces of Khmer civilization.
The program also includes a visit to the ancient capital Koh Ker, hidden in the jungle and famous for its mysterious Pyramid of Death.
Here you can take part in a traditional temple ceremony dedicated to fulfilling cherished wishes.
During the trip you will also visit the Wat Mei Pagoda, the Beng Mealea Temple (called the “flat Angkor Wat”), and enjoy authentic Khmer culture and cuisine.
Lunches and dinners are served in local restaurants offering both Khmer and European dishes.
Cambodia Koh Ker – tour program
Day 1
03:30 – Gathering of tourists and departure to the Cambodian border.
06:15 – Stop for breakfast in a Thai café (own expense or pre-ordered at the hotel).
07:45 – Arrival at the border, crossing through the VIP “green corridor”.
08:10 – Departure to Siem Reap. Stop at Royal Park with flying foxes.
10:20 – Excursion to the Angkor temple complex (approx. 5 hours).
Visiting: Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Bayon, Ta Prohm, Ta Keo, Terraces of the Elephants and Leper King.
12:20 – Lunch at a national restaurant.
16:30 – Visit to a souvenir shop.
18:30 – Check-in at a 2–3★ hotel (with pool depending on category).
19:00 – Dinner (buffet). Apsara dance show included for 3★ option.
21:00 – Free time. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2
06:00 – Wake-up and breakfast. Check-out.
08:15 – Visit to Koh Ker, one of the ancient Khmer capitals (90 km northeast of Angkor).
Visit Prasat Pram (filming location of “Mortal Kombat”) and Prasat Prang, the pyramid temple.
10:20 – Visit to Beng Mealea Temple, called the “flat Angkor Wat”.
13:45 – Lunch at a national restaurant.
15:00 – Visit to Wat Mei, a memorial to the victims of the Khmer Rouge.
15:45 – Departure to the border.
18:30 – Crossing the border Cambodia–Thailand.
22:30 – Arrival at Pattaya hotels.
