SEA FISHING – STANDARD PROGRAM
Soft drinks, tea, coffee, and lunch are provided.
All fishing tackle and bait are available on board.
An experienced fishing guide with more than 10 years of practice will accompany you, share fishing tips, and assist throughout the trip.
The tour takes place on a traditional Thai fishing schooner.
You can catch species such as garfish, angelfish, marlin, sailfish, mackerel, moray eel, stingray, shark, barracuda, tuna, and more.
Private option available: from 25,000 THB per boat (up to 10 people).

06:30–07:00 — Pick up from the hotel
07:30 — Departure from Bang Sarey Port
08:30 — Arrival at the fishing point near Koh Khram, fishing
13:00 — Lunch (fish soup, grilled fish, rice, chicken, fresh vegetables)
13:30 — More fishing or swimming (optional)
16:30 — Return to port
17:30 — Transfer back to hotels
Fishing Methods on a Standard Sea Fishing Trip in Pattaya
Group Bottom Fishing (up to 13 people)
Each angler receives a light fishing rod (up to 10 kg) equipped with a Shimano FX 4000 spinning reel and LB30 line.
The tackle setup includes a Japanese Sabiki rig with three No.18 hooks and sinkers from 100 to 150 grams, depending on weather conditions.
Fishing is done from one side of the boat, drifting with the current, without long casting — it’s an active fishing style!
You can catch various species of groupers, mackerels, and jacks, with 10–20 species of each family commonly encountered.
The catch is unsorted — there’s plenty of small fish, and fewer large ones.
With squid strips as bait, it’s possible to catch fish weighing from 100 g up to 8 kg.
Fishermen are welcome to assemble their own tackle if desired — all necessary materials are available on board.
Additionally, we set up 2–3 rods with baitcasting reels and live bait.
With a bit of luck, the group may witness a trophy-sized fish, if the angler manages to reel it in.
During the transfer to and from the fishing area, 1–2 trolling lines are set for barracuda.

The crew goes out the night before to catch live squid for bait — live squid guarantees up to 50% of the success!
Departure from the hotel: 05:00–06:00 AM.
After reaching the fishing grounds, the boat anchors in a chosen spot.
Fishing is from the stern, using rods with baitcasting and large spinning reels (size 8000), mounted in rod holders.
If there’s no bite in one location, the boat moves to another.
Depending on conditions, drift fishing may also be used.
Note: Squid may not always be available during certain periods — in that case, we replace it with live fish or squid pieces.
Jigging Technique
Ideal on a motorboat for quick moves between spots.
We use pilkers (20–80 g) of various shapes and colors, depending on depth, current, and fish preferences for vibration and color.
Average pilker price: 150–350 THB.
Before the trip, we can stop by a tackle shop, or you may bring your own gear.
Fishing depths range from 8 to 45 meters.
Recommended tackle: light or ultra-light rods, braid or monofilament line, and spinning reels size 4000.

On every fishing trip, our crew is fully motivated to achieve the best results.
