Elephant Jungle Sanctuary Pattaya

Elephant Jungle Sanctuary Pattaya currently has seven adult elephants. There are no baby elephants at the moment.

During the tour, guests learn about the elephants, their past, behavior, diet and daily care. The English-speaking guide explains how to communicate with the animals safely and how to take part in the activities respectfully.

The trip from Pattaya takes about 45 minutes. The road goes through quieter countryside areas, so guests can also see a calmer side of life outside the resort zone.

Feeding the Elephants

After the introduction, guests receive bananas, sugar cane or other food prepared for the elephants. Under the supervision of staff, you can feed the animals, take photos and observe how they behave.

Elephants may be fed only with food approved by the sanctuary staff. Guests must not bring their own food for the animals or give them anything without permission.

Mud Spa and Bathing with Elephants

One of the main parts of the tour is participation in mud and water activities with elephants. Guests help apply mud to the elephants’ skin and then join the bathing and water splashing.

This is an active part of the program. You can get wet, muddy and take memorable photos. After bathing, there is time to change into dry clothes.

The mud spa is not a medical treatment. It is part of the care and tourist program, conducted only under sanctuary staff control. If an elephant does not want to join an activity, it must not be forced.

Free Photos During the Tour

Free photo shooting is included during the tour. After the visit, photos are uploaded to Facebook, where guests can download them.

Please check the publication time and album access with the organizers on site.

Thai Lunch and Rest

After spending time with the elephants and joining the water activities, guests enjoy a traditional Thai lunch. Drinking water is included, and a welcome snack with tea or coffee is served on arrival.

Paper Made from Elephant Dung
