You will visit Tran Quoc Temple, it is located on an island connected by a bridge with a causeway between the West Lake and Tran Bach Lake. Founded in the early sixth century during the Li Dynasty, then take a stroll around the West Lake.

The Temple of Literature (Van Mieu), dedicated to Confucius, was founded in 1070 by Emperor Ly Thanh Tong. In 1076, Vietnam's first university was founded here to educate Vietnamese administrative and military classes.

An hour's bike ride through the old quarter, continuing to explore Hoan Kiem Lake, including Ngoc Son Temple, and then attending a water puppet show.
